General eye checks and specialist appointments
Eye-care planning starts from US$100. A general eye assessment may involve consultation, visual acuity, refraction, eye pressure, slit-lamp and basic fundus examination. The accepted quote specifies the actual included tests; a retinal consultation, OCT or a surgical assessment is a different request.

Tell us whether you want a routine check, a vision or glasses assessment, or review by a particular specialist, together with your preferred dates. The healthcare team determines the clinically appropriate examinations.
Confirm the actual clinician and campus
The Shanghai Eye Disease Prevention & Treatment Center profile links to published international-service information. Language availability and registration requirements need confirmation for the clinician and appointment you request. A hospital reference is not a guarantee of access.
Additional examinations and treatment
OCT, further retinal imaging, medicines, glasses, procedures and surgery are not automatically included in a starting reference. Agree their scope and price before proceeding. A consultation does not commit you to treatment.
Support at the visit and afterwards
English-speaking appointment accompaniment is included for confirmed AccessChinaMed visits through 31 December 2026. Agree written report translation separately. Ask who will explain findings, what records are available and how to arrange any clinician-recommended review after the visit.
